Delete your account.

This page explains how to request deletion of your Armchair Fantasy Football account and the data associated with it. It applies to the Armchair Fantasy Football mobile app and to armchairff.com. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to request account deletion

Option 1 — From inside the app

Open the Armchair Fantasy Football app and sign in.
Tap Profile in the bottom navigation bar.
Scroll to the bottom, to Danger zone, and tap Delete account.
Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete my account.
Your request is filed and you are signed out. We email you to confirm before anything is deleted.

The same steps work on the web at armchairff.com — sign in, open Profile, and use Delete Account at the bottom of the page.

Option 2 — If you cannot sign in

Use the Request deletion form at the bottom of this page. The category is already set to Legal or privacy.
Enter the email address on your Armchair Fantasy Football account in the Contact email field. We can only act on a request that matches an existing account.
In the Message field, state that you are requesting deletion of your account and its data.
Complete the CAPTCHA and press Submit.
We reply to that address to verify the request is really from you. Once you confirm, deletion begins.

How long it takes

We acknowledge deletion requests within 3 business days and complete deletion within 30 days of confirming the request. If you are a commissioner of an active league, we contact you first so the league can be handed to another manager. Requesting deletion signs you out of the app, so nothing further is recorded against the account while the request is open.

What is deleted

The following are permanently deleted from the live Armchair Fantasy Football service:

Account identity: email address, password credentials, first and last name, phone number, and any linked Google or Facebook sign-in
Profile: display name, avatar, bio, and account preferences
Teams and rosters: your team names, logos, rosters, lineups, draft picks, waiver claims, and trades
Pick'em and Cutline: your weekly picks, confidence values, lives, and Player Gambits
Messages: your league chat and game chat messages, replies, and reactions
Progression: achievements, XP, quests, levels, rewards, and season pass progress
Devices and notifications: push notification tokens, registered devices, and notification history
Support history: contact form submissions and screenshots you sent us that are linked to your account

What is kept, and for how long

A limited set of data is kept after your account is deleted. Each item below lists the reason and the retention period.

Anonymized league results	Standings, matchup scores, and season history belong to every manager in your leagues. Your rows stay so their history stays intact, but they are detached from your identity and relabeled as a former manager.	Retained for the life of the league
Aggregate analytics	Platform-level daily counts with no personal identifiers, used to operate and size the service.	Retained indefinitely in aggregate form
Purchase and subscription records	Billing and tax records we are legally required to keep if you ever bought a subscription.	Up to 7 years
Abuse and security records	A minimal record if your account was suspended or removed for abuse, so the ban cannot be evaded by re-registering.	Up to 12 months
Encrypted backups	Your data may persist in routine encrypted database backups after live deletion, and is not restored to the live service.	Purged within 30 days

Use this form if you cannot access the app. Include the email address on your account.
